ewimed Pneu-Pack I is a drainage bag with integrated Heimlich and air valve for drainage in hospitals by gravity. It also has a bedside bag holder. It is primarily used in cases of pneumothorax with pleural effusion, since air can be released through the air valve. The Heimlich valve prevents the air or fluid from flowing back. The bag can also be used to quickly drain large amounts of ascites when the patient is in the hospital after catheter implantation. It is compatible with our indwelling catheters and can be emptied.
The bag may only be used in hospitals.
