For us, focus is on the patient. Consequently, we want to help you take care of the patient in the best possible way. We therefore put great importance to a high level of service, which guarantees a professional and complete drainage training.
When the patient is to be discharged from hospital, one of our staff will contact you if we have received information from the hospital, otherwise you are welcome to contact us and we will arrange a time for drainage training.
Step by step, our team will walk you through how to drain pleural effusion and ascites with an indwelling catheter. We carefully explain how and when to change dressing. Our staff will give you all the information you need and help you order drainage materials. The information material includes drainage instructions that show the different steps of the drainage process. But there is also written information on how to change dressing. The drainage instructions and other important information can also be downloaded from our Download page.
If you have further questions, our staff will be happy to answer them personally during the training. Also after the training, we are at your disposal.
